We’re buzzing to welcome Paul Spencer to the Beat Bunker lineup.
A true head with roots deep in the underground, Paul’s journey started back in ‘89, learning to mix with long-time mate DJ Eclipse from Pulse FM and Tripoli Trax. From the record racks at Pure Groove to the floors of Trade at Turnmills, his early years were steeped in the sounds that shaped the scene.
Fast forward to the 2000s and Paul was pushing House through the airwaves on Passion FM, long before it was trendy again. He then locked down Saturday mornings on the legendary Unknown FM and co-founded the MoversNShakers collective, who held it down at RubyLo in London’s West End for over two years.
After a break to raise a family and handle life’s other beats, Paul’s fire was reignited during lockdown. Now he’s back in the thick of it, on the decks most weekends and hosting Because We Like It! every Thursday on Release DAB. Expect proper house grooves with a nod to the past and eyes on the floor.
